This section is likely to be one of the most popular on the ihsas website and will be of particular interest to coaches and administrators. Their role within an inline hockey strucutre should not be underestimated. The coach plays a vital role not only in teaching the basic skills of the game, but also in formulating game plans and trying to get their team to put skills and drills used in coaching sessions into practise in a competitive game situation. The planning of these sessions can be a very time consuming excercise and can generate a mountain of paperwork. This page provides links to coaching software which is available and will assist in planning coaching sessions and drills making the task that much easier.

There are 2 kinds of administrator and both their roles are equally as vital. The league administrator's role is one of the most important within the game. They are responsible for keeping membership records, scheduling league games and tournaments, and for keeping the league stats up to date - an unenviable job! The club administrator will provide their teams stats and also, if the league in which their team plays is not venue based, then they are also likely to be responsible for the scheduling of their clubs games, in smaller clubs this role is also usually undertaken by the coach.
